OUELLETTE NAMED DIRECTOR AT
NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE
Dr. Russ Ouellette was recently named the Director of the Master of Science in Management program at New England College.
Ouellette, managing partner of Bedford-based Sojourn Partners and a recognized expert in organizational development, will be responsible for faculty and program management for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. He will be involved with program review, accreditation, assessment and evaluation as well as faculty recruitment and mentoring.
Prior to his new appointment, Ouellette was already engaged with the College as an instructor and facilitator in its hybrid and online programs. He taught Organizational Management and the Capstone course to students in Henniker, cohorts in New Hampshire and online.
"Russ' excellent student evaluations and support for students and faculty place him as a valued faculty member in the GPS programs," said Nelly Lejter, Ph.D., Dean, School of Graduate and Professional Studies. "We're delighted that he will be utilizing his expertise in this new capacity, especially given that he will be able to lend his everyday real world business experience to the position."
Ouellette has been managing Sojourn Partners since 2001. Before starting Sojourn Partners, Russ managed organizational development at Raytheon Company's corporate headquarters, and has held many leadership positions in finance, information technologies, engineering, manufacturing operations and marketing. Russ holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and continues to write, speak and research about contemporary organizational issues.
"I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of the New England College community and assist them with a graduate program that I believe provides many of the skills necessary to succeed in today's business world," said Ouellette.
